Christin's leadership, communication and people skills have contributed to her success both in corporate sales and property management. Christin began her professional career in office equipment sales with Pitney Bowes Corporation. She developed existing accounts as well as established a lot of new customer accounts. She ranked in the top 5% of the sales force nationwide and was promoted to Advanced Systems Specialist after one year. As a systems specialist, Christin managed and trained colleagues to sell advanced office systems while still selling. She earned National Sales Leadership Club and Sales Advisory Board both years. Christin then successfully sold competitive business, legal and tax publications and software systems for Matthew Bender and Company. She ranked in the top 2% of the sales force for six consecutive years making her a six-year President's Club member.
For the past 14 years, Christin managed commercial and residential properties and tenants. She negotiated contracts, interviewed prospective tenants, drafted leases and was involved in unlawful detainers. She obtained appraisals and contracted with brokers to sell land and commercial properties all over southern California. Christin has done extensive research and development evaluation into site-specific plans, small lot subdivisions, mixed-use residential and low income units, as well as like-kind exchanges. She sold off underperforming assets and increased pre-tax margin by more than 50% year over year. Christin has a comprehensive service provider list with competitively priced licensed professionals for all of your home maintenance needs.
Christin has a lifelong dedication to community service as can been seen by her non-profit experience. Christin was a Board member for the past three years of Trojan League of Los Angeles and Trojan Guild of Los Angeles. Both of these USC philanthropic support groups raise funds for scholarships. Christin has been involved in her children's schools. For the past six years, she was an Annual Giving caller, Parent Ambassador, library and bookstore volunteer for their high school. Christin was also involved with National Charity League (NCL) for five years. She enjoyed assisting the NCL thrift shop manager with sorting, merchandising, pricing and working with clients since all the profits benefitted various charitable endeavors. Christin is always willing to lend a helping hand. She donates items or volunteers regularly at Westside Food Bank, Ocean Park Community Center, and Daybreak Shelter.
Christin is a native Californian. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from USC in 1983. She and her husband of 28 years have two children presently attending college.
