With over 17 years of residential real estate experience, an extensive formal education and a passion to help people, Dean possess the ability to represent you as an agent at the highest level.
He jokes about being in real estate since he was 8 years old, as his father purchased an investment property when he was just a young boy. At the time, he would accompany his father to collect the rents and do maintenance on the property. Being exposed to real estate from a young age would instill in him the acumen vital to seeing things from a different perspective. Another thing that it did, is give him the passion to help people. Growing up and watching his father have a hard time dealing with deceptive practices, instilled in him a desire to empower people with information in a comprehensive and educational manner. Officially he began his real estate career on the finance side of real estate in 1999. He says that as a real estate agent his job is to advise and consult, so that people can make informed decisions. He says it's a simple as being knowledgeable, doing your due diligence, having good work ethic, and allowing the client to benefit from all of that.
Dean received his financial planning certification from the University of California, Irvine, his BA in Economics from the nationally ranked business and economics school at Chapman University and his MBA with an emphasis in financial planning from the highly ranked financial planning program at Cal Lutheran University.
