Howard's sales career originated in the clothing industry. For more than 20 years, he owned and operated an upscale clothing store in Winnetka, Illinois. Dedicated to quality merchandise and exceptional customer service, his experience in superior customer satisfaction insured repeat business. Focusing on that level of service and attention to detail ensures that he lives up to the Berkshire Hathaway name- a name voted the most trusted company in the world by Barron's Magazine. Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, he was with EquityKey, a San Diego real estate investment firm.
Howard moved to San Diego in 2005 to serve as Chief Operating Officer of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. He later served as the Director of Development. Howard is a resident of the Talmadge neighborhood, where he serves on the TMAD board. He serves on the Board of Directors of the George G. Glenner Memory Care Centers, dedicated to caring for Alzheimers patients and their families. He is a member of Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO) and Fiesta Island Dog Owners (FIDO).
