Janice Lee is one of the most successful and respected real estate professionals in the San Gabriel Valley. Ranked in the top ½ of 1% & Top 100 of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices sales associates in North America, she has been repeatedly honored for her professional achievements throughout her three-decade-plus career. Among her many accolades is the company's 20-Year Legend Award, presented to only 8 agents of the 50,000 sales professionals in the International Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate Network.
As the director of the Luxury Properties Division of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, Janice specializes in upper-end properties, although she greatly enjoys sharing her expertise with first-time buyers as well, especially the "2nd generation!"
Janice draws on a seasoned portfolio of skills and experience in representing her clients. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in San Francisco, she is fluent in Chinese and English. More importantly, she truly understands both cultures, giving her a powerful edge when communicating and negotiating on behalf of her clients. Due to her long involvement and leadership in the community, she has built an extensive network of connections that create more advantages for her buyers and sellers.
Janice is widely noted for her support of local schools - a passion sparked by her background as a language and classical piano instructor. The proud mother of three children educated in the San Marino school system, she was a founding member of San Marino's Chinese School and has been involved with the San Marino School Foundation for 3 decades. She played a key role in a number of the Foundation's major gift campaigns, including the Community Chair for its Race to the Finish Campaign, which raised more than $2 million dollars for schools in San Marino. She also introduced a motivational program to the district and facilitated it at San Marino High School for more than 10 years in the Summer Program. In addition, Janice was the 1st female president of the San Marino City Club, which not long ago was exclusively for white males, since its inception in 1926.
Janice also served for many years on the board of The Charitable Foundation, a Prudential philanthropic organization that has awarded over $4 million in grants to local organizations working to improve communities, education, health, and the environment. Her latest "hat" is acting as Board Member for Pacific Clinics, the largest non-profit behavioral healthcare organization in Southern California.
"Janice is the consummate real estate professional," says Steve Aronson, Regional Manager of Prudential California Realty in Pasadena. "She exemplifies the level of skilled personal service and active community involvement our company is known for. I'm proud she's a part of our team."
