Born on the West Coast of France, Jérôme Rousseau grew up in Paris. He attended the Conservatoire du XVIIem, where he studied Art History, Architecture Drama and languages.
Rousseau began his career in Paris where he worked as an Art director and set designer for fashion events, L'Oreal and Paloma Picasso product launches, and visual coordinator for luxury brands to include Dior, Girbaud, Cacharel and iconic retailer L'Eclaireur. He then worked as an International sales correspondent for prominent Parisian art galleries. His thirst for learning and discovery inspired him to take an extensive world tour after which he moved to Los Angeles.
Jérôme continued his work in the world of fashion and interiors adding commercial retail design to his portfolio. Rousseau sourced retail properties for Donna Karan while working as retail design director for her new brand.
He brings his years of experience in residential interior design married with visual and art direction, property scouting and global travels to his work in Real Estate.
Jérôme speaks 3 languages and his vibrant personality mixed with strong loyalty and ethics make his client's ojectives and goals top priority.
Rousseau moved to Pacific Palisades in 1999. He is the proud father of two girls, one who attended Village School and is now at Wildwood School of the Arts, and one who is at the Lycée Francais de Los Angeles.
He has been happily married for 15 years. Jérôme enjoys an active lifestyle rollerblading, hiking in local mountains and numerous outdoor beach activities.
