Jonathan Palinkas is very active in both the industries of real estate and design in Southern California. Since returning home after living abroad in Paris France, his career has allowed him to succeed as a REALTOR with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties while operating his own interior design firm, Jonathan Palinkas Interiors. With his background in architectural design, Jonathan has an eye for investment properties and works with many in the San Diego County markets. As a certified interior designer, Jonathan can also help his clients visualize a space's potential easily and accurately.
As a longtime local, Jonathan is very in touch with where millennials are moving and what spaces they want to live in. Much like Downtown Los Angeles, San Diego's urban neighborhoods are experiencing a renaissance and boom in development. The time is now to relocate back to the city and Jonathan is here to help.
Born and raised in the neighborhoods of Scripps Ranch and Black Mountain Ranch. His time growing up in America's Finest City has allowed him to research and explore every neighborhood in the region and beyond. A graduate from the highly ranked and awarded Westview High School in Poway Unified School District, Jonathan went on to receive his BA from Seattle University in Political Science & French. After graduating in 2012, he moved to Paris, France to teach English for a year and then returned to San Diego to start a new career in Real Estate and Interior Design. In 2013, Jonathan was the Chief of Operations for Shea Real Estate, now 611 Development. He received his Certificate in Interior Design with Honors from San Diego Mesa College in 2016. Jonathan Palinkas Interiors was just recently awarded the "Best of Houzz 2017" for Customer Service!
During his free time, Jonathan enjoys swimming and competing for San Diego Swim Masters. Jonathan is an active member in his community of Golden Hill. He also serves on the Board of MARYAH - Metro Area Real Estate Professionals for Young Adult Housing. This advocacy group fundraises for the LGBTQ Center's at-risk youth housing project in downtown San Diego, a model project for ending chronic homelessness amoung youth in the US.
