In the few short years May has been a real estate professional, she has been engaged in 11 transactions. She started from the ground up with as a realtor assistant, then as Transaction Coordinator and through the urging of co-workers and friends, a licensed Realtor. She has been into the Real Estate market for over a decade with personal transactions and investment properties.

Her professional career comes from high tech where she worked at IBM for 12 years. Starting in a sales administrator, she worked her way up through sales, technical and marketing roles achieving high success with formal recognitions in each position throughout her tenure. One of her key recognition was the IBM Means Service Award, given to the top 1% of service professionals in IBM for excellence in providing service to constituents. It was one of many indicators of her genuine desire to help others which was evident across her achievements throughout her professional and community leadership roles.

IBM is where May developed the foundation of sales, service and customer skills. Early in her career she attended the legendary IBM sales training program where she spent a year attending formal classroom training, learning to listen first to understand requirements and working to become a trusted advisor to clients in order to create long term relationships with high client satisfaction. Subsequently, May attended hundreds of hours of leadership, sales and technical training at IBM where she honed her skills as a sales and marketing professional.

After her time at IBM, she worked in Silicon Valley in a startup, working part time as their Chief Administration Officer while balancing her time as a parent of two children. She also became the President of Parent Teacher Organization for her son's school where she orchestrated numerous fund raising events, improved parent participation in volunteering and built a stronger relationship between teachers/administration and the parent community. The PTO was inactive and ineffective at the time she took the reins, and with May's leadership it became a vital part of the school's operation to provide funding to supplement the teaching programs and enhanced the students' programs across the K-5 classrooms. Parents, teachers, and local businesses were motivated to participate due to her ability to connect with people and her down-to-earth personality that showed her care for each individual she encountered.

May's technical background combined with her sales & marketing acumen has made for a natural transition to the use of social media and technology in real estate. She leverages the tools of the modern era of real estate and her marketing expertise to accelerate the sales cycle to drive success for her clients with ease. May has an in-depth and detailed understanding of the offer-to-close cycles & requirements from her strong operational skills and her experience as a Transaction Coordinator. Her genuine people skills tied to these core attributes has brought early success as a Realtor.
