Pasadena is the place I call home. It is where my family built a home, I attended public schools, and raised my own family.

Upon receiving a BS degree in Political Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Cal State LA, I created a public affairs consulting firm, where I help clients negotiate, communicate and market services that allow them to execute business strategies that help improve people's quality of life in communities throughout California.

I am a former Arts Commissioner for the City of Pasadena, and I continue to work with non-profits to help address homelessness and the needs of children and families. I went on to partner with my husband and others to establish the non-profit, One Community: a grassroots think tank, which presented free forums throughout the San Gabriel Valley addressing various issues such as Voter Registration, Regional Transportation, the Environment and Historic Preservation.
