Melinda Cross is an Orange County native and resident of Newport Beach. She has been a sales executive for over thirty years, first representing Fortune 500 Food Companies such as Campbell Soup Company and Sara Lee Bakery for seventeen years and most recently as a licensed Real Estate Broker since 2004. Melinda's valuable sales and marketing experience benefits her clients as she works hard to secure the best possible price and terms for all of their real estate transactions. In addition, Melinda is a Certified Property Manager, knowledgeable in assisting her clients with their residential income property portfolio, and in managing the needs of both landlords and tenants. As a Certified Senior Mediator with Community Service Programs, specializing in real estate cases, Melinda volunteers her time in Small Claims Court to resolve issues related to real estate leases, purchases and contracts, so she knows how to protect her clients from situations that can arise in real estate transactions due to lack of communication and documentation. This volunteer effort has also honed her negotiations skills, which benefits her clients, not only with better price and terms, but with a stress-free environment learned from her over 120 hours of mediation training and hundreds of hours of actual mediations, earning her the Senior Mediator status for the Small Claims Court.
Most importantly, Melinda cares about her clients and works hard to represent their best interest whether it is a residential sale, purchase, or lease. She enjoys the process of meeting new clients at open houses or through the referrals of her past clients and friends. Most of her business is through referrals and introductions, so she values the opportunity to earn the trust and continued support of her current and past clients. Once Melinda knows the goals of her clients, she diligently utilizes all the technology tools to capture the market information that helps her sellers and buyers stay ahead of the competition and secure lucrative deals. She works hard to make sure everyone in the transaction on both sides is moving forward until the escrow is closed. It is this excellent work ethic, positive attitude and integrity that her clients appreciate when they trust her with their primary, secondary or residential income properties.
