I grew up in West Los Angeles in the early 50's. Weekend drives were a favorite family pastime and one of the best destinations was Santa Barbara. Years passed, including 30 in Scottsdale Arizona, 20 of those at ASU as a scientist. I returned to the California coast in 1985 and began a real estate career. Soon I was managing offices affiliated with a major franchise in Cayucos and Cambria. Later, I worked for smaller Cayucos firms, as a sole proprietor and as Broker/Officer of a management company. Along the way, I participated in local, regional and state leadership. I was named 1999 REALTOR of the Year by my local association.
Over 60 years after those fondly remembered weekend drives, an extraordinary connection made Santa Barbara a frequent destination. Before long, I naturally became interested in the real estate of this fabled area. When I sold my Central Coast house in 2015, I joined the Santa Barbara association and MLS to begin serious research. As I analyzed this area's properties and firms to decide the best way to benefit buyers and sellers, the answer became clear. I'm excited to be associated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. The support and tools are phenomenal!
Questions about the properties and communities of the Santa Barbara area are always welcome. Why not see if my experience and background might provide insights that serve you well in making the best possible real estate decisions?
