Robert is a California real estate broker with nearly two decades of real estate experience, and is new to BHHS. "It's so exciting to be associated with the most successful investment visionary of our time, Warren Buffet, the owner of BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY HOME SERVICES, CALIFORNIA PROPERTIES, and my new brokerage. " Robert was impressed by how this organization is revolutionizing the real estate industry and wanted to be part of that story.
Over the years, Robert has acquired many certifications and licenses, from scuba diver to commercial pilot to martial arts instructor. He is a California notary public, specializing in loan documents. As a member of Mission Hills Heritage Association, he has worked as a docent for the annual historic home tours. As a former employee of the San Diego Unified School district, Robert is very familiar with both city school districts and private schools throughout the county.
Robert and his wife, Karen Lawrence, have lived in Mission Hills for over 30 years, raising their son Devin and volunteering at many school functions. Their 1914 Craftsman home has been lovingly restored and featured in both
San Diego Home and Garden and
Better Homes and Gardens magazines. "We love our old home and if I can, I will make sure it has another 100 years," says Robert. The Little Free Library Robert built has become a popular stopping place on Pine Street for neighbors and Mission Hills visitors.
"Having lived all my life in San Diego, I know most of its neighborhoods and their potential. It has been amazing to watch San Diego grow into such a great place to live over the past 50-plus years."
