After graduating from UCSB, Ari left Santa Barbara with the dream of one day returning to put down roots in the region she loved.
Originally from Studio City, she spent the next decade moving around the country, managing various Free People and Anthropologie stores. During this time, she honed her expertise in merchandising and visual display installations. Her leadership and innovation were recognized when she was selected as one of a few field employees to collaborate with company executives on the development of mobile apps designed to enhance operational efficiency across all Urban Outfitters Inc. brands-a project that ultimately saved the company tens of millions in annual payroll costs.
In 2023, Ari leveraged her extensive retail experience to take over ownership of her mother's stores located in Studio City and Lake Arrowhead, California. She now curates both locations remotely from her home in Santa Ynez with hopes of opening a third location in Santa Barbara.
As a small business owner, Ari values authentic connections with her clients and strives to bring a personal touch to every interaction.
When asked why she chooses to live on the Central Coast while operating businesses in Southern California, her answer is simple: she wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's a testament to her deep love for the region and the unbeatable lifestyle it offers-an easy sell.
