Born and raised a San Diego native, Ryan spent 7 years as Operations/Photography Manager at Hawaiian Fire Surf School in Oahu. Hawaiian Fire is a business owned and operated by island firefighters that has since merged into a clothing/lifestyle brand. He gained a diverse, first hand business, sales & customer service education by building, maintaining, and growing a world class destination experience that laid the foundation for a global brand following that is still thriving today.
In 2010 after acquiring a solid network of NFL players and representatives that surfed with Hawaiian Fire while on Oahu for the annual Pro Bowl All-Star game he decided to head back to San Diego to pursue a dream career with the San Diego Chargers. In the 7 years along the road to becoming a member of their Public Relations staff he has also worked extensively in the entertainment business alongside with Now & Zen Productions whose main focus was the facilitation of almost all new successful Nike Brand Campaigns that took place across the world.
Most recently Ryan has spent time as the Photographer/Event Sales Manager at the Torrey Pines Gliderport and is actively involved in his community of La Jolla working alongside groups like the Friends of La Jolla Natural Park and attending regular meetings for the La Jolla Community Planning Association. The driving force behind all of his endeavors has always been a passion for people and he believes that the most important things in life are family, relationships, and community. He continues his pursuit to better the city he lives in by volunteering in numerous surf event charities, fundraisers for the San Diego Huntington's Disease Foundation and spreading the message of Aloha that was instilled in him during his time in the Hawaiian Islands.
With a long track record of customer service and sales excellence, connecting with people from all walks of life, and a deep understanding of the city of San Diego, Ryan is ready to help serve any client's best interests in America's Finest City.
